It was good for the mayority to incorporate parking space to the shared space. It is missused as a disabled parking. I am sick of listening how people without disability share the car from a relative to have use the blue badge.

• The extra traffic it will mean for other routes will result in more pollution and the extra congestion will cause them to be less safe. Princes way will see traffic being routed only along princes way instead of split to go up homer road. Island at Lode lane/blossomfield road/ streetsbrook Road will become even more congested. All traffic that was split three ways to go down Herbert Road/Princes way/ Station Road will be funnel down Herbert Road/ Princes Road and cause bottlenecks at 1) Herbert road/homer road junction, and 2) at homer road/ Princes way/Church hill road. What works under co-vid when a lot fewer people are travelling will not work as the traffic levels get back to normal. This route previously worked well for siphoning of the traffic that wants to go to also and waitrose The changes to allow better access for pedestrians and cyclist have been made at the expense if disabled people. The disabled parking bays that have been removed on Mill lane were in frequent use and were essential to give easy free, access for blue badge holders to the opticians, house of fraser etc. The bays in the car parks are too far away for many blue badge holders to use; it should be remembered that not all disabled people are in a wheelchair!. This proposal is disastrous for disabled people many who rely on cars for transport.

please reinstate all the disabled spaces removed. It seems the wrong message to disabled people that planters are more important than your welfare.

The footways are wide enough to allow pedestrians to socially distance without the need to remove disabled parking bays, which are now in very short supply in Solihull town centre. This is causing a huge amount of distress for disabled people who are being forced to avoid the town centre.
