Crazy idea for a handful of cyclists to use an unlit and at times flooded lane.Likely to cause severe delays and possible accidents to diverted car users too.

Please do not close Gate Lane. If anything it needs to be widened, to cut down on accidents. It is a vital link between Dorridge and M42 and Shirley.

The way from the little islands for bus stop drop offs need to be better marked for the bus passengers. There is a variable height on the tarmac in between the island and the main pavement due to the speed bump for the cyclists. As it is all the same black colour it is hard to judge in poor light or for those who are partially sighted, and so are obligate bus users due to sight issues. I know of a couple of instances where trips have happened or been narrowly avoided. i also feel that these areas should be treated like mini zebra crossings and that the cyclists should have to give way to the bus passengers. At present it is not clear who has priority at these points, just that cyclists heading towards Solihull should give way to those coming from Solihull where the narrowing occurs for bus stops

Depends really. If they're going to be those lanes that are on the road, going with the flow of traffic then that's good. The ones on the pavement are slow and useless, and they encourage people to jump on and off the road where they stop or break. They also usually fall foul of pavement clutter. You'd probably be better actually resurfacing some roads because in Solihull they're an absolute state at the moment.
