Forcing traffic all the way round to get to Waitrose is totally unnecessary. There is more than sufficient space for traffic to flow both ways here and Covid does not get transmitted by a pedestrians proximity to traffic. There is insufficient foot traffic at this point to justify this closure.

Since the beginning I have not seen a single pedestrian or cycle in this area. The only vehicle you will see there is a Traffix truck which appears to park in there every day for lunch. In effect we pay Traffix a rental for all the signs so that their drivers can have their lunch without interference.

Rush hour is so busy here . Causes a lot of unnecessary tail backs . No social distancing required here . People do not use this . See no use for this
